Florence + The Machine Talk New Record

It hasn’t been too long since Florence + The Machine hit the music world by storm with their debut, Lungs, and the group is already working on the follow-up.
Singer Florence Welch spoke to Nylon Magazine recently and stated the band has been working on new songs with producer Paul Epsworth who has also worked with Kate Nash and Adele. Nice choice. Welch also said that this time the lyrics would be a bit darker and the songs would be about imaginary things. No release date has been set yet, but keep your ears and eyes peeled. Keep checking back for more updates on Florence + The Machine’s progress.

Scanners Set To Tour The UK

London band Scanners will be releasing their second album Submarine on March 21st and to appease their ever growing fan base, they will be hitting the road in the UK.

The band has already been capturing quite a bit of attention with songs featured on shows like Gossip Girl, Entourage and Beverly Hills 90210.  They have also caught the attention of some fellow bands and have shared with stage with the likes of Florence and The Machine, Air, The Wedding Present and Devo.  Mega stations Radio One and XFM have shown their love for the band as well.
