Allo Darlin’ Announce US Tour

allo

Allo Darlin’ has only been a proper band since 2009 when founder and frontwoman Elizabeth Morris enlisted Paul Rains, Bill Botting and Michael Collins. All of them are also part of different bands – Elizabeth is in Tender Trap, Paul and Michael in Hexicon, Bill in Moustache of Insanity and also in Darren Hayman and the Secondary Modern – but they will be playing together as Allo Darlin’ to welcome the summer in the latter half of spring across the US to support their self-titled debut which came out last October on Fortuna POP and earned them a 7.9 on Pitchfork! Check below to see if they’re coming near you.

Tape Deck Mountain Premiere New Video And Share New Track

Tape Deck Mountain released their latest EP, Secret Serf, last month and they are sharing the title track with the public! However, that is not the news they are bringing. They have also made a video for their song “It Goes Down” which you can now view below. The video is dark, yet has psychedelic accents and shows a myriad of very different appreciations of the song.

Smith Westerns Add Dates To US Tour

Chicago’s Smith Westerns dropped their second album last month, before embarking on a European tour with MGMT. Recently, it was announced that the group would continue touring stateside. On the heels of that news, comes word from the band that they’ll be playing dates with Wilco and Yeasayer later this spring. A full list of tour dates can be found below.

Middle Brother Plans Tour

After several on-stage collaborations, Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes, John McCauley of Deer Tick and Matthew Vasquez of Delta Spirit announced late last year that they were heading into the studio to record an album under the moniker Middle Brother. Since then, we’ve heard whispers concerning how the album might sound. Finally, with their album’s March 1st release date quickly approaching, Middle Brother has unveiled a single and slew of tour dates. Check them out down below.

Chateau Marmont announce tour dates, release mixtape

Synth Paris-based band Chateau Marmont are set to release their new digital mixtape, C-M-X Tape, and to celebrate it, they are going on a select date tour in North America. The mixtape is made up of reworkings of disco songs, all in the style of Chateau Marmont. But this isn’t the last you will see of the band this year, they are set to release a compilation of three of their EPs via Institubes Records. In the meantime, check out their track “One Hundred Realities” here and make sure to check them out when they’re touring near you!
