leo. Shares Dreamy New Release “drink my soul” EP

leo. is a singer and songwriter from Portugal. Classically trained from the age of five, the now 18-year-old has cultivated his talents to what they are today.  In the summer of 2018, leo. recorded and produced his first single from his own bedroom in Portugal. After releasing 5 other singles and moving to the UK to study, the young artist is now poised to make waves in the scene with his eclectic sound and vulnerable style. Through his catchy melodies and honest lyrics, leo.’s music demonstrates a raw interpretation of life and its experiences.

‘drink my soul’ is a portfolio of singer and songwriter leo.’s contrasting musical offerings from his early childhood classical music roots to au courant stylistics. It’s soaked in relationship motifs; all varying from personal, romantic, and his communication with the world. The EP inaugurates with “mean,” written by leo in 2018. and produced by Lily Sturt-Bolshaw, and encompasses leo.’s signature ukulele progressions and ariose piano. The word “mean” fills in the body of verb, and then adjective, to convey the song’s overall story which smoothly makes way for ‘drink my soul’s’ second slot.

leo. shares:”‘drink my soul’ is a collection of original songs I’ve written over the last 3 years, all of them about my relationship with myself, other people, and the world. Songwriting is a form of therapy for me, and after moving to the UK last September, after not having released anything for over a year and a half, I knew I was ready and had enough material to release something I was really proud of. Developing this project has been one of the best learning experiences of my life and each song represents something very meaningful to me. I’m very proud of the work everyone involved has put into it and I’m so glad I’m sharing so much of my soul with whoever wants to listen.”
On his own artistic lane, leo. strives to create music that will connect with his audience on a deeper level, as well as a safe space where listeners can feel understood. From nostalgic harmonies to delicate arrangements and beautifully lush instrumentation, leo. is quickly garnering millions of streams and a broad fanbase. The musician has just released his debut EP in June of 2021. Undoubtedly, leo. is set to leave his footprint and stay in the hearts of many.

Sam and the Sea Come Alive with Double A Side

Sam and the Sea are a New York based singer, songwriter, record producer, and visual artist. The childhood love-at-first-sight affair with the guitar was only the beginning of their polymath musical education, which eventually extended to drums, bass, piano, percussions, and of course vocals, until inevitably music became inextricably linked with existing. Their songs are immediately personal and dreamlike, arranged with a DIY mix of real and electronic instruments, with a unique breathing vibe and intimacy reminiscent of Elliot Smith’s finest moments. Having beefed up their musical chops in the NY city through gigging and acclaimed producing duties for the likes of Siv Disa, Sam and the Sea eventually released their debut single and accompanying video ‘The Light’ in March 2020 to good international press coverage. While promotional plans were scuppered by the ongoing pandemic, Sam and the Sea pursued continued to write, record and produce – although the two tracks forming this release were borne out of very unique circumstances, only adding to the intimate listening experience. The songs share a similar structure, both starting with a bare guitar pizzicato and vocals, before building up to a catchy groove and more layered instrumentation, almost as if to gently transport the listener to the full flow of the tracks.

’Little Lies’ and ‘Thinking Slow’ were both written in the same night when I was stranded in the woods in winter in rural Canada. I had driven across the border to see friends and do some work, and I brought all this gear with me–my car was packed full. I remember the border guard asked me so many questions, wondering what I was doing coming into Canada with so much stuff. The car broke down when I finally got to the cabin in Lachute, so I was stuck alone there with my gear for a few days while it got fixed. I had intended to do some finishing work on another piece, but I was stuck with nothing to do and I also wrote these two songs. Vocals for both were recorded that night, and additional parts were completed in upstate NY over the course of the next year.’

Big City Lights’ Reveal new single, “Nothing Makes Sense Without You”

4 Minutes Later Share Epic New Single “Grace”

The curious case of 4 Minutes Later began in 2018, when the account tweeted “music coming soon.” No band members, no band images, no shows, no location given, just the promise of music. It wasn’t long before curiosity captured an online audience and #whois4ML trended across the UK, USA and Mexico, before even releasing a song.Over the course of the following year, 4 Minutes Later delivered a series of singles before releasing their self-titled debut EP, all while remaining anonymous. With the cancellation of their 2020 USA headline tour due to COVID-19, 4ML decided to record their debut album.  Haunting and tragic, the emotional first single “Grace” portrays the difficult realities of watching your loved one disappear while battling dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. The band will finally break anonymity following the release of “Grace” in order to bond with fans on a new level.
