Mirrors Release New Video, Album Out Soon

UK electronic group Mirrors have their first full-length coming out very very soon. Titled Lights & Offerings, the band hopes to get it to your ears sometime in February.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, the group has released its first music video from the album.

The track is called “Hide and Seek” and the music video is the stuff of nightmares. Featuring two legless clay figures that reanimate and stare at each other in the flickering glow of a TV screen, it’s disconcerting to say the least.

Just watch the video for yourself, but be careful. These things will haunt you.

Sunglasses Remix “Keepaway” and Head Off on Tour

Sunglasses are a pair of Art and Design school musicians who serendipitously came across a music career.  The two initially worked together on a student film and found the collaboration so enjoyable that decided to take on music as their next project.  As of late, 8000 bam bam (Samuel Cooper) & Baby Seal (Brady Keehn) have already released  their first self-titled EP and booked a decent tour covering the eastern half of the States.

Sunglasses recently lent their talent and expertise (Baby Seal majored in Sound Design) to reworking Keepaway’s “100.”  The result is an aquatic jam that bubbles over and struts around with swagger despite the seemingly melancholy line, “I just hope you think of me when you get high.”  It’s a rousing mix of Merriweather Post Pavillion and Air France.  Listen below:
