ESCPE Shares Exciting New EP “Cloud Walk”

Create and immerse yourself in your own reverie with ESCPE’s latest EP Cloud Walk, now out
on Gravitas Recordings. Reality is based on what one submerges themself in, and ESCPE
encourages listeners to engage in an absence of mind and exist in their own universe through
six ethereal offerings. Presenting five solo productions and one collaboration with Axel
Thesleff, Cloud Walk is a transcendental tapestry of sonics that resides in the heavens.
“Dawn” approaches with an array of luminous sensatories, guiding occult unknowns across the
ether.

As dawn breaks, “Dusk” emerges to restore balance to the cosmos through elegant and
celestial soundscapes. Featuring Axel Thesleff, a euphoric inauguration in “Suncrown”
welcomes listeners to the dark, mystical kingdom of enlightenment. Uplifting and healing vocal
chops revitalize “Memories” once forgotten, as listeners resume their path towards awakening.
“Sacred” is a pensive excursion through the troposphere, voyaging aloft a cumulus of dreamy
synths. “Overgrown” resolves the eclectic Cloud Walk with exquisite acoustics, bidding
farewell as one returns to the Earth’s soil.

Maxine Linehan Shares Spirited Holiday Release; Covers the Classic “Happy Xmas (War is Over)”

In our eyes and hearts, Maxine Linehan is the newly crowned Queen of Christmas (sorry, Mariah Carey) after her newest album dropped on November 13th. Not only did she give the early merrymakers an excuse to start blasting holiday music before and during Thanksgiving, but her magical voice has now brought us through the November – December transition with such enchantment.

This Time Of Year, a 12 track album filled with the joyous, snowy, hopeful warmth we all know and love during the Christmas season. Though we could be persuaded to listen to any Christmas album, there’s just something so special about Maxine Linehan’s voice, production, and passion that comes with each track on this album.

The newest single off the album is a lovely rendition of the classic hit “Happy Xmas (War is Over)”. “We live in a world where we continue to be divided by religion, politics, race to name a few subjects,” Maxine says. “John Lennon and Yoko Ono wrote this song asking us to choose peace, asking us to choose kindness. 39 years later we’re still working on it. But I still have hope. 2021 can be a year without fear.”

The album starts with Maxine’s rendition of Somewhere In My Memory/ Believe, that we know and love from the ever popular Christmas movie, The Polar Express, and finishes off with “Silent Night” in a way you have never heard before. But, our favorite track on the album has to be “I’ll Be Seeing You”, as there is a haunting vibe to the track that we never knew we needed.

You can find us decorating our trees, blasting This Time Of Year, and drinking hot chocolate in our candy cane onesies for the next couple of weeks. And we would bet that even those Christmas scrooges and grinches in our lives would love this album.

Wolfe Hybrid Share Bold New Single “Survivor”

“Survivor,” is a prominent release that flows with a hook and melody both magical and memorable. The vocals and instrumentation blend together in perfect harmony, showcasing the talent of the band on every level; making “Survivor,” truly a special listen.

James P. Noon speaks of the song:

“Survivor” is one of the very first songs we wrote together as Wolfe Hybrid. It came together fairly quickly. From start to finish … it took about an hour to write.  Wolfe Hybrid Lead Vocalist, Jeff Wolfe’s career spans decades in film and television as an action actor turned director. He’s a four (4) time Emmy nominee, who took one home in 2014. Jeff, is a world-class martial artist who has worked along side the likes of Jet Li and Jackie Chan in Hong Kong. He has fought both Ryan Gosling and Reynolds, among others, and has even gone toe-to-toe onscreen with Scarlett Johansson in The Avengers. For this reason, listeners might reasonably assume that “Survivor” is at least somewhat autobiographical in nature. In short, “Survivor” is the story of a man whose priorities shift with the added responsibility (and reward) that comes with raising a young Family.

In the lyric, the narrator/singer gets paid to soar higher, get set on fire, and fight the heroes, but in the end, it’s when he comes home to his Family that he sees that he’s the true hero.

After all, he “can see it in their eyes….”
Wolfe Hybrid is the musical collaboration of songwriter/producers Jeff Wolfe (vocals) & James P. Noon (acoustic/electric guitars). Both are seasoned entertainment (Film/TV) industry veterans at the top of their respective fields. Wolfe Hybrid was formed in Los Angeles in 2019. Wolfe Hybrid plans to release a full-length LP of original songs in Spring 2021.

The R Train Shares “Dear Mr. Fantasy”

Is Rock and Roll dead? Well if you ask our new favorite band, The R Train, they will surely tell it is VERY much alive and kicking. In fact, it’s thriving with their newest single release, “Dear Mr. Fantasy” a cover of Traffic’s 1967 release written by Steve Winwood and Traffic. Hailing all the way from the big apple, Mike Annese, Jeff Black, and Denny Lee make up The R Train, named after the popular R Train Line that runs through the New York Boroughs.

Coming off the high of their last release, Take a Ride, The R Train brings us some incredible guitar- centric sounds, grungy vocals, and even cooler video content. The track holds its own when considering the audio version, but the band wanted to feed their fans with some more content by dropping an extremely well shot and well produced music video that really tells a story.

With shots of the band performing the track, fans get to see shots of the bassist, the dummer, and the vocalist rock out with a clean white background, allowing our attention to be only on them. The shots are centered around the message of the track: a hope for the possibilities of the future.

There are some artists we come across who have tracks that are “earworms,” or songs we just can’t seem to get out of our heads. The R Train is one of those artists. So far with these three single releases, they are 3 for 3 with sonic wins, and we cannot wait to hear what they have up next!

Zach and Melissa Walker Unveil “There’s Snow-One Like You”

Zach and Melissa Walker share a delightful new record with us this holiday season titled “There’s Snow-One Like You.” What started out last year as a gift for family and friends, The Walkers are now sharing their spirit with the rest of the world.

Zach Walker shares of the creation of the record:

“We were inspired to make this album primarily because we simply love Christmas music and the whole holiday season. We love getting to make music together as husband and wife in this duo, and our primary outlet for this project has been Christmas music so far. There are so many holiday songs that we both love, and it is easy to find common ground in our taste. We both have other things we do a lot of the year and other music projects that we work on independently, but this has been a great opportunity to come together and share something we both love. The songs on this album are all covers of popular Christmas songs, there is nothing necessarily new within it, but that’s the great thing about Christmas music. We get to put our own spin on songs that have been around for years and sung by many of our favorite artists, and yet we also draw from those songs and get to pay tribute to those that have helped stamp this music into our minds over the years.  We hope to continue making Christmas music together for a long time, and this album may also lead to some other music down the road from us that isn’t specifically holiday music as we really have enjoyed recording together as Zach and Melissa Walker.”

Throughout the record, Zach and Melissa harmonize beautifully, as they provide a stunning new take on the classic Christmas songs. From the acclaimed single “Christmas Tears,” to the gorgeous rendition of “O Holy Night,” they bring an enchanting sound to the table. The music will have you not only excited for the holidays, but for what Zach and Melissa have to offer in the coming year.

“There’s Snow-One Like You,” is out via all digital outlets now.
