‘OMFG’- A Deluka Remix

Its been nearly a month since Deluka released their debut album, You Are the Night, on Vel Records. During that time, ZINK Magazine named them “ [The] U.K.’s best kept secret,” they played several shows at CMJ, and more recently Innerparty System remixed their song “OMFG.” The remix is an electrifying take on the already impressive song, and thanks to The Street Date its available for free download HERE.

Baeble is also hosting a live performance from Deluka, which can be viewed HERE.

Tour Dates:
12/04: New York, NY @ Rockbar w/ Oh Land

Jesse Harris Doubles Up

Releasing two albums in one year is no easy feat, but that’s precisely what Jesse Harris has done in 2010. After releasing Through the Night in August of this year, Harris unveiled an album on instrumentals, entitled Cosmo, in September.

Harris recently released a music video for the song “Little Star,” off of Cosmo, which we’ve included down below. And, for those of you interested in hearing what Through the Night sounds like, download the song “Its a Long Way Just to Say Hello” HERE.

Ryan Adams Turns Leftovers Into Double Album

On December 14th, Ryan Adams will release his 12th studio album. Entitled Cardinals III/IV, the album is Adams’ 5th with The Cardinals and features material recorded back in 2007. According to Adams, he and the Cardinals walked out of the studio 3 years ago with over 60 songs.

And, while this material wasn’t good enough to make the album they released back then, Cardinals III/IV is supposedly a “concept rock opera about the 80’s, ninjas, cigarettes, sex, and pizza.” The first single from the album, “Destroyers,” can be heard down below.

Introducing Roman Photos

Roman Photos’ new 7″  is set for release on Atlanta label Double Phantom Records this December. Their music can best be described as chill, 80s inspired electro with an interesting twist.
Roman Photos’ music offers an interesting dichotomy, formed between the vocals of their music and the instrumentals. At first, the somberness of the vocal is a bit jarring when laid over the upbeat instrumental but it eventually grows on you. Listen to their song new song “Decline” below, or download it HERE.

Brew Your Own Cup of Wilco

With Black Friday right around the corner, its time to start Christmas shopping for your loved ones. Not sure what to stuff their stockings with? How about some Wilco Coffee?

I know what you’re thinking. What is Wilco Coffee? Well, some of band’s members visited Inteligentsia Coffee’s Cupping Lap to pick their favorite variety. They settled on a coffee from the Sidama region of Ethiopiam, grown by the Homecho Waeno co-op.

Our friends over at Stereogum have a description of the coffee’s flavor, which I have admit sounds intriguing. The retail price ($21 per pound) is a little steep. But, for those who are interested, you can purchase Wilco Coffee here.

Gorillaz Take A Hipster Infused Submarine Ride

Gorillaz has recently debuted their new video “Doncamatic” on MySpace. The selection of “Doncamatic” as a single was peculiar, given that guest performer Daley is responsible for nearly all of the song’s vocals, and the video is equally odd. The video finds Daley piloting a submarine through turbulent waters, before eventually finding his way to the “plastic beach.” Check it out down below.
