Jukebox The Ghost Go Half Crazy For Rock Band and Tour


Last week was a busy one for Jukebox the Ghost; not only did the trio release the video for their new single “Summer Sun” but they also debuted their track “Half Crazy” on the Rock Band Network. Fans can challenge themselves and play along with JTG keyboardist Ben Thornewill on the first Rock Band song to earn the “Devil Head” difficulty rating for the keyboard controller, the most difficult rating in the game.

After a stop in Oswego, New York last Friday, Jukebox the Ghost and Wakey!Wakey! will continue their co-headlining tour in Virginia this week. A full list of dates, and the band’s new video, can be found below.

Start The New Year With Wakey!Wakey!

Brooklyn based indie-pop rock band Wakey!Wakey! certainly have something to celebrate as 2011 gets going.  Following their sophomore release Almost Everything I Wish I’d Said The Last Time I Saw You on Family Records, frontman Mike Grubbs will be taking his band to France in February for a slew of dates opening for James Blunt. 

But don’t worry New York fans, Wakey!Wakey! will be playing a few shows in the area in January before venturing off across the sea.  Check them out at Le PoissonRouge on January 13th and at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center in Westhampton Beach, NY on January 28th

Wakey!Wakey! Announce Tour With Jenny Owen Youngs

Back on September 16th on their website, Wakey!Wakey! announced that they would be touring with a dear friend, Jenny Owen Youngs in November, giving dates and all, but they were still looking to give the tour a name.  Well, the verdict is in and the Dance So Good Tour is scheduled to hit the biggest city near you, including you Canadian fans.  Wakey!Wakey! will be playing their first show up north in Toronto, which is a little more normal than just having your first smore

Touted as a band anyone can enjoy, from punks to single mothers, Wakey!Wakey! is the project of Mike Grubbs.  Yes, the bartender character on One Tree Hill, if the name rings a bell.  Look for Grubbs at these dates:
