Empress Hotel Release A Colorful New Video

The premise for Empress Hotel’s new music video (for the song “Mach Bach”) started with left-over New Year’s balloons. The video features the band buried in over 1,500 glittery balloons, or enough to completely engulf their practice space.

The song is from the band’s upcoming self-titled EP, which will be out March 8th on Park The Van Records (home of Dr. Dog and the Spinto Band). To back their first EP, Empress Hotel will be touring the East Coast. This includes a couple days at SXSW (which isn’t really the East Coast, but whatever).

Check out the video for “Mach Bach” and if you want to see Empress Hotel, their tour schedule is after the video.

Good Old War To Tour With Dr. Dog, Joshua Radin

Good Old War, one of the fastest up-and-coming bands on the planet, will keep to the road this fall. The band announced a bunch of supporting tour stops, with the red-hot band Dr. Dog, maestro Joshua Radin and tour mainstays Dashboard Confessional.

If you haven’t heard these guys yet, you’ve run out of excuses. Their self-titled debut has recently been picked to be part of iTunes’ Discovery Download program, which means it’s on iTunes right now…for less than ten bucks (their single “That’s Some Dream” is free).

Here is Good Old War’s first single from the album, “That’s Some Dream.” The video was shot on tour, because these guys are so busy they can’t stop to film a music video.

If you want to see them (with Dr. Dog, Joshua Radin or Dashboard Confessional) just head here…

The indie rockers from Philly have released the video for their track “Shadow People” off the album Shame, Shame. The basic setting of the video: the laid-back track is set in a roller rink. Check it out below.

The band will also be hitting the road with the likes of Good Old War, and Here We Go Magic. Be sure to catch them as they run through your town. And for all those San Francisco fans, go here for a special two-day pass for their two-night stint at The Fillmore.
