Sarah Osborne Comes Alive with “Autumn Sun”

Sarah Osborne is a singer-songwriter from the west coast of Canada. Hailing from a musical family and holding a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology, this songstress and sea queen draws inspiration from folk, blues, jazz, and the weather.

Her new single, “Autumn Sun,” is a laid back, country influenced number loosely inspired by the French traditional song, “La Jument de Michao.”

The song’s video follows two lovers who have enjoyed some end of summer romance, but one must return to their home out east, while the other must continue to work on their dreams of the artist’s life, not yet ready to settle down.

The coming of fall is welcome but it does warn us that winter is around the corner. And with that comes the hungry howl of animals in the night, including the dark nights inside of ourselves.

Aaron Pollock Debuts New Single “About Her”

Calgary-based singer/songwriter, Aaron Pollock, has branched out from country-based music into the wider world of pop.

His new single, “About Her,” embraces the beauty of having a fire lit inside of you by someone who just rocks your world.

Upbeat acoustic guitar and percussion heavy melodies are coupled with lyrics that celebrate that individual for whom words don’t even come close to describing.

Pollock collaborated with co-writers Lydia Sutherland and Chris Yurchuck to really capture how special the person who inspired this song is.

“Doesn’t need a neon to make her shine, she’s a little more New York at night. That city don’t sleep, neither do I.”

FKB Reveals “Beautiful Fantasy”

FKB is a high-energy, four-piece, alternative rock band based in Edmonton, Alberta, influenced by the mystique, glamour, and excess of the 1960s-1980s entertainment business.

The band has taken influences from the blissful yet somewhat melancholy feeling present in so much of the early indie music from the early 2000s on their new track, “Beautiful Fantasy.”

The bass driven, upbeat indie pop tune uses kaleidoscope imagery to express the rush of excitement and colourful emotions that comes with a new relationship.
