Keegan Powell Reveals “The Wildcard”

Toronto-based songwriter and performing artist Keegan Powell began his journey writing and recording in Teenage Kicks as the guitarist on their debut album Spoils Of Youth. Shortly after, he went on to compose songs for Chastity on both their debut LP Death Lust and sophomore record Home Made Satan

Powell’s album is due out for release later this year. “The Wildcard” is an ode to the underdogs and freaks; the ones who will always go their own way no matter how hard it gets, fully and completely. The music video manifests into his own surrealistic nightmare, inspired by The Warriors and Clockwork Orange.

“I chose to call the song ‘Come Back’ because 2020 was a hard year for all of us. Some of us are still feeling the effects of what we went through that year today. The title ‘Come Back’ is a call to action. It invites you to get back on your feet and keep pushing forward as your authentic self.”
