BlackWater Cobra were formed in Mississauga, Ontario in 2019 by 4 guys who love to work hard and play a hell of a lot harder. Driven by Jack Daniels, strong bud, and American Muscle, the 4-piece have hit the ground running with their debut single, “Guy Like Me,” showcasing the band’s in-your-face country rock that incorporates both 70s arena rock and southern fuzz.

When life hands you lemons, make lemonade. Ottawa-born brothers, Cory and Jeff Papineau, live by this saying. So much so, that they named their band Lemon Cash. After three years of playing as a five-piece alternative rock cover band, the brothers made the transition into the world of country music.  “Wine Tonight” is the first single from Lemon Cash’s forthcoming album. Written by Jeff, Cory, and Jeff Dalziel (who also produced the single), it’s upbeat, hook driven, and sure to have you singing along while craving a cold margarita on a tropical beach.

Youthful and ambitious, singer-songwriter Peter Drucker burst onto the scene in 2018, with an armory of tracks ranging from electric guitar driven synth-pop, to catchy, heartfelt string-centered ballads; all aided by a uniquely soulful voice and a dominant sense of groove that leaves listeners mumbling choruses into the night.

His brand new single, “Jim and Pam,” is named after The Office’s dynamic duo – a show that Drucker may become ostracized from society for admitting he’s never watched an episode of. Having originally written the lyric “we can drive ‘round these streets like we’re Bonnie and Clyde,” Drucker made a simple swap with the modern day version – Jim and Pam.

Combining raw sound with electric showmanship, Andrew Waite’s passion for songwriting and stage performance is undeniable. His songs are honest and rugged, making for an unforgettable experience when paired with his dynamic live shows. Recently winning the coveted SOCAN Songwriter of the Year award from Music PEI (2020), Waite is now working with producer Chris Kirby (Quote the Raven, Charlie A’Court) on a new release for 2021.Andrew’s first single of 2021 is “Ain’t Goin’ Out Like That” – an addictively upbeat antidote to the adversity of the past year, hinging on a message of perseverance. 

Thanks to a transatlantic childhood, Toronto-born/London-raised singer-songwriter Devan is  leaning into her wildly diverse musical influences to create a voice that’s all her own.

“Night Drives,” the brand new single from Devan’s forthcoming debut Pink Noise EP (out 2/26), captures the feeling of driving around at night with someone you love – aimless, chatting, listening to music. It’s a particularly special sense of freedom. 

While distinct, Devan’s voice may sound familiar. She has spent the last six years honing her talents as a songwriter and live performer with Wild Rivers; the folk-pop band that she co-found and co-fronts, boasting over 140 million global streams. The band’s 2019 release, “I Do”, scored Devan the top prize at the International Songwriting Competition and placed her in front of judges Coldplay, Dua Lipa, Tom Waits, and Bebe Rexha.

Whether it was learning to play their instruments while writing their first album Community Protected, or stumbling through the production of their second record Goodbye Childhood, Toronto’s The Neighbourhood Watch loves to grow alongside their music.  “Focus Up,” the first single to be shared from their forthcoming new record, Lost in Bloom, is about how it can be hard to keep friendships intact as you grow up and need to make selfish decisions more often.
