I, the Mountain is a five piece pop-folk band based in Kitchener, ON. Known for their joyous live performances and infectious song writing, the band has grown from plucky street-corner artists to Canadian festival mainstays. The band has performed at festivals and venues across Canada alongside notable acts such as The Strumbellas, Elliott Brood, Busty and the Bass, and Jared & the Mill.
As a follow up to their debut album, Little Wild, which was released last year, the band is sharing new single “Wildflowers.” The song began as an electro-pop track. After sending the song to The Strumbellas’ Simon Ward, the song became a ballad of untamed love. “Wildflowers” explores themes of uninhibited, uncompromising love and depicts a relationship’s unwavering commitment.
