The Nunez Project’s latest track “Lares” is the perfect blend of funky jazz and fresh blues. This track is one you would hear blasting out of coconut speakers at a Caribbean themed block party.
Lares is the first single from the album “Historias desde Otros Lares.” This track takes influences from Puerto Rican beats, Bomba and Plena to drive the rhythm. Featuring Luis Núñez on bass, Michael Rodriguez on trumpet and Changa Pacheco on percussion, this track is a delicate, cohesive fusion between Latin music and Afro-Caribbean cadences that work together and create a “new energetic and powerful combination.”
