Rossemberg Maza is back in action with his new video for “My Secret.” The follow up to his critically acclaimed piece “Bad Guy,” Maza captivates once again with a piece that is visually and musically stunning. Taking us on both a sightseeing and musical journey, we caught up with Rossemberg Maza as he shares the inspiration and production of the piece.
1- Tell us the story of this song, why did you choose to visualize this song specifically?
This song represents the courage to put the real you out there. This song i believe represents the good that comes from being true to yourself. Sometimes, We don’t want to show our true feelings and i wanted to make a small window into who i really am. I think this song will be great for those people trying to find the courage to speak up on any situation and doing it while having fun. It shouldn’t be stressful to express your feelings. This song is just fun and on a more personal note i also wanted to force listeners to stop for a second and listen. This is a song made to make people get off their phones, Tv sets or anything stressful and just dance to embrace the moment.
2- What was the inspiration behind this video (visuals, storyline, etc.)?

It is a small window into who i really am and what i do. It is basically a compilation of everything that has happened to me in the last 2 years. I truly enjoy what i do. I sometimes get caught up in the work, and the process and the deadlines and it is fun to watch happy moments and realize that it has been a great ride so far. I hope this forces the viewer into that catharsis about their own life. You have to appreciate what you have been through and become a better person.
3- What was the process of making this video?

Well, probably the longest shoot for a music video. It has been 2 years in the making. It just so happened that there were a lot of instances where i was being filmed and with no other particular use for that footage i decided to not let it go to waste and make something positive out of it. It came down to a lot of time  editing and finding the shots that really communicate something. I think its great to see the transformation that has happened in the last 2 years. Time goes so fast and it is good to remember and gather strength to keep on going.
