Make Out Free EP Release February 22

Make Out will release their highly anticipated debut EP, How To, on February 22. The band, formed of New York native Hennessey on vocals, Jesper Mortensen (formerly of Junior Senior, aka Junior) on back-up vocals and guitar, Anders Christiansen on bass and Olivia Alminiana behind the drums, just performed last night at February 10  at New York’s Tammany Hall. If you missed it, the show was free!

Pujol Bring Their Music To The Nation

Daniel Pujol, the reluctant “Philosopher King of the Nashville Scene,” and his band Pujol recently released a 7″ single for their track “Black Rabbit.” And, starting last week, they’re touring in support of the song. Peep the video for “Black Rabbit” and a list of tour dates, down below.

Cat’s Eyes perform in the Vatican

Cat’s Eyes is a new duo made up of Rachel Zeffira, a Canadian opera soprano and multi-instrumentalist based in London, and Faris Badwan, the singer from British psychedelic-rockers The Horrors. The musical result is an eerie romantic pop, only fit for a church in the Vatican. Which is exactly where they performed. Check out their performance in their website here. Ivan & Alyosha Release EP, Tour Dates

Filled with “warm harmonies  and lush melodies,” (Filter Magazine) Ivan & Alyosha have released a brand new EP titled Fathers Be Kind out now on Missing Piece Records. The Seattle quartet will saddle up for an appearance on NPR’s “Tiny Desk Concert Series” February 7th. From their, they will take their talents on the road featuring stops at SXSW, Mountain Stage, and The Folk Alliance in Memphis, TN. Take a peak at “Living for Someone.”

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. go on tour with Tapes N’ Tapes

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. is a Detroit-based band composed of Daniel Zott and John Epstein, which are pictured in an oil painting to the left. This will serve as the album artwork for their debut LP, “It’s a Corporate World”. Here’s what Epstein said about the eclectic album: ‘It’s a Corporate World’ is really about two individuals existing in separate lives, and the ideas that can form or possibilities that can open up when one person starts to rely on another with a genuine sense of trust and mutual respect”.
