London-based singer, songwriter and producer Sheps’ signature sound combines modern pop production with heavy percussive elements. As a multi-instrumentalist, Sheps writes and produces his own music at his studio in Hackney, pairing honest lyricism with a rich and engaging soundscape.

New single, “Problems,” is an uptempo pop song that focuses on his past struggles with anxiety. His most honest release to date, “Problems” is a step in the direction of the artist that Sheps wants to become as he hones in on his sound.

Edouard Landry’s songs are a mix of pop, rock, folk and catchy melodies. The Sudbury, Ontario artist was nominated for the ‘Best Male Performer’ category at the Gala des prix Trille Or (2017), ‘Francophone Artist of the Year’ at the Country Music Association of Ontario Awards (2020), and his albums Pomme plastique II and L’escalade were nominated ‘Best Album by a Francophone Artist’ at the Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards (2017 and 2019). 

On June 4, Ed will release his first full-length English album, Be Here Now, about finding mindfulness and inner peace to live in the ‘now’ no matter where you are. He reflects on his previous French albums in new single “Words,” which explores the notion that a minority-language artist can operate in relative obscurity, or in a fortress, as the song describes. Ed relates the songwriting process to architecture, in terms of finding new and better ways to let the light in.

At 20, gritty and soulful singer-songwriter Sean Hassard moved to Montreal where the true formation of his artistry blossomed as he found the voice that defines his unique style in both singing and lyricism. He started releasing music in 2019, and released a string of singles in 2020 that saw him break the 200 thousand stream benchmark. 

Sean’s new single, “Lemonade,” is about unrequited love. The emotional weight of falling for someone, who despite admitting feeling deeply about you, purposefully distances themself out of the fear of heartbreak. The message echoed in the chorus – you’ve got none if you give all that you’ve got – puts an interesting twist on the old adage of giving it your all.

Emily Kate bridges the gap between country and pop with her unique sound and lyrical storytelling. Pulling from real life experiences, her music conveys relatable, thoughtful messages weaved with fresh, soulful melodies and a warm sound.

Emily Kate worked with CMAO-nominated Producer of the Year, Shawn Moore, on her new debut EP, All In, which reveals a strong willed female artist aiming to impact the lives of current and future fans.

The EP’s focus track, “The Whole Time,” is an upbeat country pop song about going out with friends and meeting someone who takes your breath away. A twist on the common saying “You had me at hello,” this song is about someone having you “the whole time.”
