Savoir Adore Release New Single

Savoir Adore began as a 48-hour challenge between two friends. The band has since evolved into one of the most unique bands in Brooklyn.

The band has recently released the single “Sparrow” on Neon Gold Records and released a live video of the song “Loveliest Creature” which you can see below.

Panda Bear Offers Exclusive Shirt For Record Store Day

Panda Bear is preparing an exclusive release for every music-lover’s favorite holiday, Record Store Day. This year, the holiday falls on April 16th.

Somewhat fortuitously, Panda Bear’s newest album Tomboy, hits stores only four days before, on April 12th.

To celebrate Record Store Day, Panda will be releasing 1,000 limited-edition LP/T-shirt packages. The T-shirt will not be available online and will not be reprinted.

Besides celebrating RSD, Panda Bear recently DJ-ed for NPR’s All Songs Considered. You can check out his 40-minute set right here, and look for Tomboy when it drops on April 12.

Shit Robot Debuts Hot Chip Remix

Hot Chip’s Alex Taylor has remixed Shit Robot’s track “Losing My Patience” (which he conveniently lent vocals to on the original). The remix is part of the new Shit Robot single, which features the original version of “Losing My Patience.”

Along with Hot Chip’s remix, the single features a Unabombers’ remix and a dub version. The single will be out April 18th on DFA records. You can hear the Hot Chip remix below.

Shit Robot debuted a visual-heavy live performance at this year’s SXSW, dubbed the “Shit Robot Show”. He continued the moment throughout March, stopping by Terminal 5 to help send of LCD Soundsystem last week.

O’Death Tour The Globe

Brooklyn band O’Death are back on the road in support of their latest release, Outside, which will be available via Ernest Jenning Record Company on April 19th. The band just returned from SXSW, only to head right back out on the open road. They are undertaking a ginormous world tour that has stops ranging from California to Germany.

Asobi Seksu Add Tour Dates With White Lies and Sun Airway

Asobi Seksu have announced a couple more tour dates, in case anyone got left out of the first round. This time, the group will be accompanied by Sun Airways and White Lies.

The band is still reveling in the positive critical glow that followed the release of their fourth album, Fluorescence, which came out February 15th via Polyvinyl. The album showcased the band’s familiar song and ever-growing songwriting skills.

The band has also had a couple of other musicians remix their tracks. You can hear Holy Other and Painted Palms remixes of the song “Trails” here.

Freelance Whales Team Up With Starbucks

Freelance Whales are having a pretty decent spring. Still riding positive buzz behind their debut album Weathervanes, the band has locked up a nation-wide tour with Foals and the Naked and Famous as well having their music land on a Starbucks commercial.
