As of 2020, they have just released their first EP titled ”Take Me”, which includes four tracks, followed by a single in which one of the members will showcase his vocal skills. In addition, they have multiple collaborations, official remixes and other projects in the works which will see the light of day in the coming months. We had the distinct honor of catching up with Cosmic Boulevard this Summer for an insightful chat.
1) Congratulations on your new album,Take Me! What inspired you to create the record?
Thank you! We hope you really enjoyed it! Inspiration always come from different places or moments, but in this case we tried to make an energetic powerful EP, with deep and warped voices. We tried to make each song, something new, with our own unique sound and this was the result. Each song has a unique touch that makes the next feel correlated to one another
2) In your eyes how does the new songs differ musically from your past work, but also how does it coincide?
As a duo we decided that we will always try to maintain our essence through our sound. So we think that Take Me has the same essence that our older songs, but it has a fresher feel.
3) When it comes to constructing the ideas for your songs, do you pen anything in specific first? Melodies, harmonies, notes?
We don’t have a specific rule when it comes to creating a song, but we always try to make a beat first, play with the melodies and synths a little bit, and then start to complete the structure of the track. So, sometimes the lyrics comes first, and then the beat, or vice versa. But we realized that most of the time it is easier for us to work the melodies after we have the lyrics done.
4) Do you keep an ongoing journal for music and ideas that are constantly in your mind, or do you lay it down recording wise, almost immediately?
Yes, sometimes we write stuff on a notebook, it helps us work better with the lyrical ideas, but most of the time we head immediately to the studio the record the ideas before they go away.
5) What is your favorite part of being a musician?
Our favorite part is always being able to create, wether is music, lyrics or a video, but our absolute favorite is when we play at a venue and see the crowd enjoying our sets, especially when we play our own tracks or remixes, that’s fulfilling and beautiful.
6) As this year is a bit away from the norm, have you found new ways to engage fans? What do you foresee as the next wave of focus for musicians ?
We are currently thinking new ways and formulas to engage our audience.
We think the best way at the time is to do live streams playing some sets, so you can entertain your audience while you broadcast your music.

Producer, songwriter ANJELICA takes viewers through a dreamy vignette of NYC in the new video “Maybe It’s the Drugs”. As she navigates through the realities of her mind, life, and experiences living in one of the world’s most electric and artistically conflicted cities, we get a deeper understanding of how it transformed her.
ANJELICA opens up about the transcendental experiences she had while living in NYC. In lyrics, “I wish I could explain the codes that I’m sent, language does not do them justice…I’m still trying to understand why they’re so clear in my conscience?” and “Gets so deep in my head, feels like I’m crazy sometimes…” She compares her time spent in NYC to one long psychedelic trip that changed her perception of reality.
ANJELICA is creating her own path, bridging the familiar sound of “dark-pop” music with an otherworldly narrative.
ANJELICA brings an elevated sense of truth and vulnerability to the dark-pop music genre. Listeners received a taste of her forthcoming projects through her debut single “Good Ones” that she further accompanied with a stripped acoustic version and a stunning video to accompany. Through her music, a gravitational pull ignites and ANJELICA brings us together in an expression of shared loss and the capacity to find strength in the darkest of times. Self-written and produced, her works deliver an intuitive sound that is distinctly her own. ANJELICA released her first single through eXotichouse, distribution through EMPIRE on March 30, 2020. This single will be followed with a collection of releases throughout the year. “Maybe It’s The Drugs” reigns as her second single of 2020.

Jeremy Drury is a two-time Juno Award winner as a member of The Strumbellas. Raised in Lindsay, Ontario, Drury began his musical journey at the age of 12 as a percussionist in his school band. On his debut album, Company Store, he brings together his own stories, his own experiences and fulfills a lifelong goal of releasing his own material.
“Pour Another,” the first single to be shared off of the forthcoming LP, is a response to every song that’s tried to reassure us that everything’s going to be okay. Contrary to the idea that we’re in control of our destinies, “Pour Another” tells the story of a character who has seemingly done everything “right” up to this point, but their fate has other plans.

Kitsuna’s music runs along borders. Familiar and unfamiliar, classic and future. Cold synthesizers, hypnotic rhythms, cinematic arrangements, and through it all pervading themes of loneliness and self-reflection. Writing, recording, and producing all his music alone, Kitsuna considers it a challenge against himself to see how far he can stretch into the far corners of his abilities.
The new single, “Can I Love,” is a song about loneliness – one formed from the belief that wisdom is enough to see you through this life. Without love, however, life is a battle you cannot win.
