Luke James Shaffer Delivers “Last First Kiss”

LJS - LFK (2).jpg

Luke James Shaffer just dropped his latest single “Last First Kiss” and it is absolutely beautiful. It is just the song for your inner hopeless romantic. The song was inspired by his wife and the moment they shared their last first kiss. Shaffer explains, “It was one of those memories that was so vivid to me that I had to write about it. In the moment I obviously didn’t realize that this was the last time I would have a first kiss, but that’s what makes it so special. It may sound cheesy but that night changed my life. My wife is my rock, and my biggest inspiration.”

The song is filled with beautiful lyrics which paint the scene of Shaffer’s actual last first kiss. His layered vocals paired with powerful horns make for a great, upbeat Americana track. We love the Mumford & Sons vibes in this track and we are so excited to see what he has in store.

file3.jpg

Nulberry are an Indie Rock band hailing from Daytona, Florida. Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter Cory Lott’s complex melodies glued together with simplistic Indie-Pop vocals and dreamy synth textures creates a unique Indie-Math-Pop fusion.
Lott’s influences draw heavily from The Microphones, Pavement, Modest Mouse, The Unicorns and Delta Sleep.

Nulberry were formed in 2107 as a duo with founding members Lott and Cameron Miller (percussion). They later acquired Joe Boxell (synthesizer) and Cory Tanner (bass) and they are now set to release their debut single ‘Vegan Chicken’ on June 24th.

Nulberry are currently in the studio working on new material for their first EP. Stay tuned and enjoy!

Shaman Elect Deliver the Goods on “Mind the Ether”

SE - Synth and Guitar - No Words.jpg

Shaman Elect is delivering the goods today with their new record “Mind the Ether.” The Brooklyn-based group entice with their stunning release that captures the essence of the band throughout the record’s entirety.

Blending a bold combination of Rock, Pop, Jazz, Psych and a little Funk, Shaman Elect is not your average New York band. On the album we experience a band that is truly creating music on their own terms.

Standout pieces for me include the powerful “Life Ruining Drugs,” the infectious single “Hugo of Bath,” and the romantic vibes of “Shadow Dweller.” Their knack for creating “modern psychedelic rock,” gives them an eclectic and unique edge in the current music world. Their heartfelt and honest lyrics pave the way for stunning instrumentation and vibrant musicianship that will stand the test of time.

Shaman Elect’s “Mind the Ether” is out today.
