Thao and Mirah Team for Album

Thao Nguyen (of Thao with the Get Down Stay Down) has joined forces with singer/songwriter Mirah. The two had recently collaborated on a tour, and now they will be releasing a record together.

On April 26, Kill Rock Stars will release Thao & Mirah, an album that the duo recorded in a two-week span. Both musicians work with Air Traffic Control, an organization that teams musicians up with social advocacy. If When the two start touring behind their upcoming album, they will be promoting social causes at the same time!

You can hear Thao & Mirah on April 26. Until then, check out the song “How Dare You” recorded for a Yours Truly session a while ago.

Beats Antique Head Out On The Road

Now the band has announced a new U.S tour that has them pounding the pavement for the next couple months. Beats Antique also mentioned something about a SXSW appearance that I’m sure they will touch on sometime soon.
