New Song: Queen Mash Up Featuring Armageddon AKA Geddy from “Sucker Punch” Soundtrack

Hot off the presses…From the upcoming “Sucker Punch: The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack” out March 22nd – the audio companion to the film director Zack Snyder (Watchmen, 300) describes as “Alice In Wonderland with machine guns,” is an original mash up of Queen’s “I Want It All/We Will Rock You” featuring Armageddon Aka Geddy (Terror Squad).

“Sucker Punch is a film created with multiple levels of reality, so this same layered construct had to be considered and applied when approaching the music. The selection of songs we chose and the various ways in which they were each re-envisioned had to add depth, dimension and meaning to the sequences they exist within. Marius de Vries (Moulin Rouge!) and composer Tyler Bates (Watchmen, Californication) did an amazing job creating an intricate musical landscape to accompany the surreal imagery of the film” says Snyder.

The Soft Moon Announces West Coast Tour Dates

You should never stare directly into the sun, but get your ears as close as you can to the Soft Moon. After the release of two sensually dark 7 inches, Luis Vasquez of The Soft Moon, released his self-titled debut full-length on Captured Tracks, on November 16th, 2010. Vasquez channels his punk upbringing and Afro-Cuban heritage to sculpt decidedly dystopian soundscapes for a new generation of torn romantics. In otherwords, hell-freaking-yes. It’s a record set somewhere in the near post-apocalypse where technology enchants as much as it destroys. And you can hear some of it live if you’re at any of these spots in the next few weeks.
