Eamon McGrath Unveils “Sparkle and Bleed”

With over 300 songs written and recorded, album of the year credits, and multiple continent-spanning tours, Eamon McGrath has developed a body of work that could rival that of any artist 15 years his senior. This is the house that punk rock built: a fierce DIY attitude and constantly-changing style has guided McGrath across the globe on countless tours, stories from which have been cultivated in innumerable journal entries and song lyrics.

New single, “Sparkle and Bleed,” follows the September 29th release of McGrath’s latest book, Here Goes Nothing, and features guest vocals from longtime friend, collaborator, colleague and bandmate, Julie Doiron. “Sparkle and Bleed” is taken from an upcoming full-length album that will be McGrath’s first release since 2019’s critically acclaimed Guts.

Lora Ryan Shares Pop-tastic New Single

Pop-electronic singer/songwriter, Lora Ryan has notched her share of ups and downs in life and love. Like countless artists, she’s channelled those triumphs and tragedies into personally therapeutic songs that tell universal stories while moving us emotionally, intellectually and physically. And she’s gathered those songs into a stunning, ambitious album titled Reckless, out now.

The record’s first single, “Make Me,” explores a no-strings-attached relationship that crosses the line of friendship, even taking romance off the table.

Working closely with longtime producer Adam Royce, Ryan has fashioned distinctive, dynamic and vibrant tracks that not only complement her soulful R&B-tinged vocals and ear-worm melodies, but expand dance-pop’s palette with innovative colours, tones and textures.

Keegan Powell Brings Rock n’ Roll to Your Speakers

Keegan Powell is a Toronto-based singer/songwriter/guitarist. He’s currently the guitarist and co-songwriter for Dine Alone Records/Captured Tracks band Chastity, Powell has also released several singles and EPs under his own name.

Powell’s solo debut LP is slated for a 2021 release and includes Keegan’s newest single, “Rock N Roll Kind Of Night”. While initially being influenced by the tumultuous relationship between Elvis and manager Tom Parker, the lyric and story eventually morphed into more of a dark romantic tale where a loved one has a breaking point after a prolonged period of toxicity together.

Forces Takes Charge on New Track

Forces’ new single, “The Battle Is On,” is a sultry art-pop battle cry riding on a wave of pure head-nodding funk.

The name Forces implies a literal joining of forces between Dave and Jess, each contributing their power into doing the thing they love to do most: making music, together. It’s also rooted in the pair’s love of joining forces with their musical community, and shared passion for creating experiences where their friends can play and perform together.

Loose Fang Unveil “On and One”

On and On,” the first single off of Loose Fang’s Live Wires, is dynamic, loud, and bittersweet; tackling the passage of time and how that sometimes leaves us forgetting what happens if we sleep too long. The accompanying music video was edited from full colour, found home videos of a family holidaying in San Diego in the 1940s.

The personal and musical backgrounds of Vancouver’s Loose Fang are as diverse as the land they call home – a modern Canadian band. They recorded their debut album, Live Wires, Black Sheep, with producer Howard Redekopp (New Pornographers, You Say Party, Tegan and Sara, Mother Mother) for his new How Weird Sounds imprint in a tight, loud, and raw burst. Putting down 11 songs live, Loose Fang captured the sound of four people playing in a room together, with a minimum of overdubs.

AVTR’S TERA BANG DROPS DEBUT SINGLE ‘ALL ABOUT ME’ WITH 3D ANIMATED LYRIC VIDEO

Tera Bang®, a member of avatar girl music group AVTR®, is today releasing her debut single, ‘All About Me,’ along with an animated lyric video in which she models several upcycled outfits in support of the sustainable fashion movement. Tera’s solo track is the first music release from 3D virtual girl band AVTR, an initialism of group members Amaya Rush®, Valentina Verse®, Tera Bang, and Ryda Rhymes®.

In ‘All About Me,’ Tera makes her debut to the dance-pop canon with a carpe diem attitude inspired by Ferris Bueler’s Day Off. The song’s uptempo brings the energy of the dancefloor to the housebound listening experience of the “new normal” with smooth, candy pop melody and classic pop beat. The cut represents a positive and confident way of looking at life as a free spirit and motivating yourself to get out there to accomplish what you want.

The song’s lyrics describe a hardworking young woman by opening with ‘calling in sick in the morning, cos tonight I want to play’ then ‘every day and night I know how to put the work in so today I’ll make it rain.’ It then moves onto a chorus ‘it’s all about me’ and we gain a sense of female empowerment with ‘just relax, be cool and act like you’re the one who makes the rules.’ The production is upbeat and infectious with attention-grabbing vocals and a punchy bassline mixed with guitar vibes, creating the perfect ‘Girls Night Out’ anthem for any occasion.

The lyric video shows Tera modeling in a photographer’s warehouse studio with lyrics painted on the brick wall in a trendy, graffiti style. Tera wears three different outfits designed and sold by upcycled fashion company tHERAPY Recycle and Exorcise. Since Tera’s appearance with the other AVTR group members at Helsinki Fashion Week 2020, Tera is taking up the cause of sustainable fashion.

Although Tera Bang is a virtual music artist, the people who stand behind her brand aspire to impact our interconnected world through championing ethical, eco-sensible brands and community leaders.

Panjandrum.ai Inc develops virtual music artists, with its first project being the avatar girl music group AVTR. All four members of AVTR will release their group song, ‘Queen,’ with a full 3D music video later this fall.
