Diamond Doves Release Tracks Into The Wild

Diamond Doves have just released their very first songs as a group. The band put out three talks this week in celebration of the news that the band has a residency with Brooklyn’s The Rock Shop during March.

The members of Diamond Doves cut their (musical) teeth playing and recording with Elvis Perkins as Elvis Perkins in Dearland. The trio have given everyone the chance to hear their unique sound, which you can get right here. Doves will also be touring with the Felice Brothers. Look for their schedule after checking out the tasty, fresh-from-the-oven songs.

Now the group’s single from the album, “Mirabell”, has undergone the remix treatment courtesy of DJ Dallar. You can check out both the original and the remastered song right here.

Soft Moon Releases Haunting Live Video

TSM

The Soft Moon delights in a brand of fuzz-punk that leaves you feeling slightly uneasy in a good way. Luckily, Moon (aka Luis Vasquez) has released a video for one of his live performances. The haunting music is even more affecting when it’s accompanied with the flashing, colorless video, as it is for the song “Tiny Spiders.”

Soft Moon released a self-titled debut late last year on Captured Tracks, and is now out touring behind it. Check out his schedule after the video (found here).
