Pomegranates Announce Tour And New Album

The Ohio based group Pomegranates has returned with a new album titled One of Us, which is due for release on October 26th from Afternoon Records.  The band known for its delightful and poppy albums now supply us with a third and have also announced a massive tour with Oh No Oh My.

The single of the album “Prouncer” could be some of the bands finest work.  Joey Cook and Issac Karns, who share vocal duties throughout the album, split the song as a duet.  The song is as catchy as it gets and truly captures the bands 80s influenced poppy sound that they have conveyed throughout their first two albums.

Introducing Paper Crows

Meet Emma Panas and Duncan McDougall. This London based duo has put a very unique spin on the idea of a two-piece band. The anticipated drum/guitar/vocal that you would expect from such a group does not even begin to explain the complex sound created by these two. With the clashing of elegant tones and dark electronic rhythms, The Paper Crowes definitely provide us something to look forward to.

“Stand Alight,” the bands debut single is due for release on October 11th and tour dates are most likely on their way. The band has just begun playing very popular live shows in and around the London area and will hopefully be coming to the states soon.  They are currently in the process of recording their first album but you can listen to the single right here!
