Folk singer- songwriter, Eli Lev proves his musical versatility in his newest track. In a completely different vibe, Eli Lev brings a haunting and dark sound to the scene with his song, “Treason”, the final single release off of his newest EP, Way Out West, which is set to drop on December 14th, 2018.
With a slow, almost dangerous sound, Eli sings along to lyrics like, “Take my future and take my name- I’ma keep my heart and take my soul down to the river… hold my head up to the sky.” Compared to his usually positive and optimistic songs, Lev shows off his ability to write, sing, and play a completely different musical dynamic with this specific track.
Listeners can expect to be pleasantly surprised with “Treason” lyrically, and sonically, as he includes his usual acoustic guitar, as well as a beautiful flute sound.
