Shilpa Ray and Her Happy Hookers released an album yesterday called Teenage and Torture. It has been celebrated by both Spin and the Village Voice. Nick Cave of Grinderman called it “too f*cking good.”

To commemorate this event, Shilpa Ray (and Her Happy Hookers of course) will be playing a show at Brooklyn Bowl on January 21^st. Also Featuring Soft Black and Shee Keeps Bees, you can score a ticket for $5.
