This week’s edition of The Cat’s Pajamas features a member from one of our all time favorite bands. Carol Cleveland Sings is the solo tecnho-pop project of Spinto Band singer and guitarist Thomas Hughes. We’re not going to lie. We know little about this project at Modern Mystery except for the fact that we love it to death. It’s poppy as hell in lack of a better way to describe it. If you love the Spinto Band you are going to love Carol Cleveland Sings because it has that unmistakable Hughes voice.This is the first Spinto member that has really done something solo and he’s taking it on the road with ROAR (Owen Evans formerly of Asleep in the Sea) this fall. On tour Carol Cleveland Sings will also be selling a tour only cassette! Ah cassettes are making a comeback kids.
