If you’re indie Swedish Sensations, I’m From Barcelona, its safe to say that nothing you do is really shocking. The 27 piece band has decided to release 27 free songs via their website that started Wednesday, January 27th. Titled 27 Songs from Barcelona, The group will release one song daily for download, and if you haven’t caught on yet, each song will feature a member of the band seperately. I’m From Barcelona was inspired to do this from KISS’ solo releases in the late 70s. I guess we have to be grateful not all 27 put out full length records, right? Starting the 27th when the songs were released online, you will also be able to pick up the three vinyl records set of the project. The greatest thing about this project is you get a feel of everyone’s personality in the massive band, to see who exactly makes up I’m From Barcelona. Check out the tracklisting below as well as a short video the band made premiering the release. This surely is going to make for an interesting project.
