Working Class Hussys have released a brand new single, “Elaine,” which offers up a delicious blend of alternative rock and Americana music.
It is a catchy tune with upbeat guitar chords, and stand out vocals from lead singer Ian Patrick Gentles. “Elaine” is the first song in a while since their last album release “Diesel Tunes” in 2014.
About “Elaine”, Gentles says:
“ “Elaine” was written while revisiting the neighborhood I lived in as a child. Much of it today
seemed neglected and run down, and I was reminiscing about how great it was as a child to be able to roam free about the town with friends all day long – a stark contrast to the children that grow up in today´s protective society.¨
Working Class Hussys can be described as a fusion of sound, from Southern Heartland music, alternative rock and Americana. Some of their influences include Marty Balin, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and Burt Bacharach. Comparisons have been made with Weezer, The Beatles and Tom Petty music.
Listen to “Elaine” and you will be transported on a journey of refreshing modern rock.
