Yellow Dogs To Be Unleashed At SXSW 2011

Formed in Tehran, Iran in 2006, Yellow Dogs are a band comprised of friends from the city’s fledgling punk scene. The band members met in a park called “ghorbaghe”—“frog” in Farsi—where rockers, skaters and street artists of all types would congregate, albeit carefully under the eye of Iran’s strict laws.
5 years later, Yellow Dogs are touring in the US and prepping for the May release of their debut EP, In The Kennel. See a full list of dates below.
